Great YMCA. Local feel. Staff always nice. Facilities always clean.
This facility is very inviting as soon as you walk up to the front entrance. My experience from the time I joined until my last visit everyone has been very pleasant and more than happy to guide you with any information needed. They have workout instructors that just finished working with my grandchildren age 9 and 10yrs old and set them up on a workout routine. The instructor was very informative and a great guide thru all the equipment that they are allowed to use. Children under 11yrs of age have to be supervised at all times. The children love it. The pool is clean plenty of lifeguards so you feel comfortable while at the pool. After workout or even after swim in the pool their facilities have a very clean changing room. With individual showers, lockers, and very clean. I'm so glad we have been able to become part of the Goochland YMCA and look forward to visiting other facilities.
